About Mark
Mark Frieden, President of Crossbow Strategies, grew up in Lake Barcroft, Virginia, outside of Washington, DC. Mark believes that business, wellness and the natural environment can all work together to grow a community where everyone thrives. He has worked for both for-profit companies and non-profit organizations. Mark has collaborated with organizations and individuals to reduce energy and water use, increase recycling, create healthier working and living environments and be more socially responsible. He also has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry.

Why the name Crossbow Strategies? In Switzerland, the crossbow is a symbol of quality, reliability and confidence. Both sides of Mark's family came to the U.S. from Switzerland in the 1850s.
